Hi Guides! The details of the Readers’ Badge are below. Please note the various assignments and deadlines.
1. Read a storybook written by one of the Western authors.
-Short synopsis/reflection written on chosen book
2. Read these two books that are related to Scouting/Guiding:

Download this document and type/ write your reflections/ sypnosis into it. All three reflections should be typed/ written out separately and they should be printed out for submission.

NOTE: All synopsis/reflections are to be handed in on the first activity after school reopens.
3. Read books with different headings (4 out of 6) out of the following:
-Science/nature
-Travel/exploration
-A foreign country
-History
-Biography
-A book of poems
-Introduce & share the books read through presentation or comic strip or story board to the rest of the patrol members. You will have to photocopy the cover page of your chosen books.
4. Read aloud a passage of your own choice from a sacred book. E.g. Bible, Buddhist passages. The passage should be at least a page long (font 12).
NOTE: 3 and 4 will be conducted on a later date. But it’s good to start early!
