World Thinking Day Competitions 2013
Hi Guides,
As you know World Thinking Day 2013 is coming soon!
World Thinking Day is of
great significance for all Girl Guides and Girl Scouts. On this day, we
celebrate and give thanks on the birthdays of our Founders, Lord and Lady
Baden-Powell, who had inspired and transformed the lives of so many millions of
people worldwide. Let us come together to renew the Promise we made
during our enrolment and make this a meaningful and memorable event that will
remain long in our memories.
So next year, the theme
for World Thinking Day will be “Forging Family Ties”. There will be four competitions
that Guides can take part in.
COMPETITIONS
To create greater awareness of and to promote GGS’ theme for 2013, we would like to invite units to
participate in the following competitions:
· Bear
Making
· What Family Ties Means To Me
· Girl and Family Look-alike
· Ode to Mother / Father Poem
Each Guide is required to take part in at least ONE
competition. There is no limit to how many you can participate in! Refer
below for the details(Rules and Application forms) on each competition.

Please use the holidays to complete your entries.
